For the past few days before Merdeka day, I have been seeing this every morning... =)
I swear this looks way WAY better in real life... my stupid phone cam is doing it no justice =/ hehe 4 me to be at Dataran Merdeka this dark in the morning. I've been waking up at 5.30 am ( sob sob) every morning. Bt the clocktower really looks ultra nice in the morning and it's probably the almost non-Malaysian thing u can see else where haha.
I've had very fond memories of this
flagpole here haha with
Hy, Dor & Lisa. haha. As this pole starts in the underground parking lot, we sit on the high thingy surrounding it everyday and haha we've had a blast !!!. I'll show u wat nonsense i've been talking bout later hehe...
Now on the actual day of Merdeka, I had to wake up at
5.15 am on a Sunday morning. boohoo. All for this damn country man. haha. but surprisingly every1 was quite hyper on the bus on the way to dataran haha. especially me n gene wern. Me cos i'm always
high =) n
gene wern cos he says he ate maggie mee.... still dun see the connection until now... but anyway haha. We went there, before we even had time to
lepak, they told us to go sit in our formation. and mind u people that was at 7 am -_-... they probably thought we were all gonna run away or wat crap haha.
haha the lighted up Merdeka sign haha. i'll tell u people. 2 days before the actualy day... the only letter that light up were E K A haha. go figure haha.
Us all in our first formation. The Jalur Gemilang. If u're a gundu and haven figured out by now I'm one of the white stripes in the JG. n that's hy's hair haha. ooh ooh. I haven told u guys bout our
disgusting uniform ha... If u inspect properly. My stupid outfit makes a clown look freakin pretty. it's this
tastelessly huge round collared t-shirt with these huge balloon tracksuits. a stupid cap and stupid gloves. ahhhh!!! & that's not the worse part, I should tell u guys what we did on that day first. first, we formed a JG, then we split to lines and we had to do some hormat thing, seni pertahanan diri n senamrobik. ( and this is where I've gotten to know
Hoe Shing really well.That's guy's freakin interesting if not weird haha). Then we had to form a spaceship called soyuz and do a stupid robot dance which I've named the "
Alien, welcome to earth!" dance. Come ask me for demonstration if u dun belive me. Then we run off to make the words
MISI NASIONAL and do some retarted dance. Then we do the perpaduan dance which consist of Malay, Indian and Chinese dance movements. I kinda like this the best cos well the dances r not half stupid. Then we make the new logo this year then we just sit there as the parade goes on. aniwae back to my stupid outfit. in betweeen the soyuz thingy and MISI nasional, we were to change outfits. I noe i noe, by the way, I was not naked in front of everyone. We jus had to tug off our shirt in front of every1 grr. and i swore i probably flashed a few times. haha. Aniwae to make this run smoothly, the stupid organisers made us wear the yellow long sleeveshirt underneath then the white longsleeve shirt on top and those fugly white trainers. and 2 caps of different colour. so notice that i emphasised the
LONGSLEEVED word. it was so FREAKIN hot. ahhhh... anyway. oddly, i actually enjoyed my last day doin all the dances. cant belive hy was nervous haha. with 2000 people doin the same thing. wth can u b nervous bout haha?!?
Aniwae. so we just sat in the logo formation 4 an hour plus. so we all were jus goin crazy ourselves haha...
The helicopters with all our state flags.. but i personally prefered the jetplanes. they were awesomely fast and noisy =))))

We actually saw our astronaut guy and darn it he's hot haha. N well Lee Chong Wei i mean Datuk lee was supposed to come but when they announced his name everyone with cam in hand was like where?!?! but none of us could see him... haha...
My creative creation =))) no prizes in guessing what finger that's supposed to be. but haha see what u get when u combine a glove and our flag... haha.... i made it dance around by shaking it.. and everyone was thoroughly amused if not weirded out... haha...

SO after it ended for us... all the reporters were busy taking pics of everyone haha.. And for once u can actually understand how it feels to be a celebrity haha... tho i'd never call ourselves that considering our outfits haha... We were also busy takin pics ourselves haha...

Ika. our cute new friend from I cant remember what school hehe. sorry =). but she doesnt look like a form 2 gal rite? haha yeah me too... And she's freakin pretty ya noe...haha.. I bonded with her over our phones haha... She wanted songs and i had alot of them... hehe =)... she's so cute.. She came hugging all of us saying she'll miss us... aww...
just to show u guys the amount of people... and this is just a very small portion of the performers..
I so wanted to wear either the blue or red shirt haha... the big crowd of people in the background are like students studying to be teachers... cool ha... love it when they do the wave thingy and when they do all the swirly patterns... =) as u can see too... every1 was taking pics nonstop... al th reporters too.. btw our dear qi long appeared in papers thrice i think haha.. My theory.. They're fascinated by his very THICK AND DARK eyebrows. haha =)
so after all the pic taking and wat not... We ate the crap food that they gave us.. And thank god our last meal wasn't that bad haha. The chicken looked half edible, the dhall was alrite. the rice was in some form of way ok. haha. & we had 100 plus & water =) We ate at our fave flagpole spot and spent our last moments there hehe... and of course we took pics =) hehe

haha so we walked around for awhile.. waiting for the others to tell us when the bus arrive.. then we met the cochrane guys haha... Me n hy got to know these guys few weeks ago n they're freakin nice.. haha... nice, cute, funny, kinda good looking haha... they trained my malay speaking abilities hehe... to talk and understand them is freakin not easy but theyr'e freakin cute hehe... blabbing to us on the first way we met them... tried to lie to us bt haha like we believed them..
1) told us they were form 2 students who took PMR ( rolls eyes) haha yeah rite if they're form 2 dudes we're form 2 gals too haha
2) their skool has elevators and escalators ( truth is just elevators haha)
3) had to pay 100 per month for skool thingys haha
they actually summoned us on the last day and told us that they lied haha me n hy were laughing our asses off but haha at least they were sweet enuff to do so... suddenly this reporter came and wanted to take a pic so all the cochrane people flocked to them.. then haha suddenly tavvin went and said with innocent face sumore "Jean, the bus is going already!" din bother him the first time then he said the same thing, same expression. so i was like jumping and screaming at Fad i tink saying "picture!" haha so all the cochrane dudes hurried to us and we took a pic (yay!!) haha. then we scrambled off as we tot the bus was alredi goin or wat crap. cos we delayed alot haha i mean seriously la. cute guys or bus? hmm. tough decision. not hehe.
and then it turns out. the bus isnt even here =/ they jus went to wait for the bus =/ damn. tavvin. haha. darn it. shud hav stayed to chat longer and get their contacts haha.
Bt all in all i had a lot of fun on that day. oh dor, we totally should have spoken to Mr Panda Adam thought i knew u were gonna freak haha. U can reli feel the whole semangat thing not cos of all the stupid dancing, but rather when u make friends with people from other races and people u probably wil not meet again haha =) we met these 3 very cute n friendly indian girls too bt no pics =( so haha tink i'm glad for joining this =))
