holidays. mmm. Kinda love/hate this current one. I mean, i usually LURVE my hols ( i mean like which sakai fella doesn't? haha =) but damnit. They place this stupid holiday right before our finals. =( burr. Which means right it's the "perfect' excuse to study and revise. ark ark ark. No " oh, i had no time to revise or I was too busy" excuse. burr burr burr. But anyway. I'm not complaining too much haha. A holiday is still a holiday =) no matter what. Pity those form 3s tho, =/ cant belive i was one of them last year and my gosh next year. shitey shite. I'm not going that far. anyway haha.
Jun, I'm gonna talk bout food again. haha. Cos i really got nothing to talk about + this korean restaurant is preety awesome =)
So yeah, last Saturday we went to Mid Valley ( boohoo, m so sick of this place but i still go there so often) to watch Money Not Enough II. My whole family. So rare but not bad haha. The movie was quite nice. Funny and touching and it always hits a spot inside you no matter who you are. But i gotta say i like his I'm Not Stupid franchise better, maybe cos it's about younger people & it's closer to the heart but MNE2 definitely ain't bad. But haha I cried my arse off watching the show. What is it about Jack Neo's shows man haha? I'm usually red by the end of the show haha. But at least I was better off, those mums in the cinema were still blowing their noses away even after the movie ended hahahaha =)
So after that, we decided to try the Korean restaurant in The Gardens ( Go Gung) and it was preety preety awesome. It was quite empty when we went it but it started to fill later. =)
The food was really quite *licks mouth* haha. Went in with weird expectations, ya know you dont really know what to expect as it may turn out weird but at the same time u want it to be nice too haha. But the food definitely didn't disappoint.
Dad ordered
1) Barbeque chickie chick and lamb (it's like the main dish to eat there i think. cos korean food usually = kimchi & barbeque)
2) Korean "pizza"- their version of pizza is seriously not the pizza we know haha
3) This like huge bowl of soup ( i'll show u later)- something like steamboat or u know the Syabu syabu restaurant? yeah somethin liddat
4) this korean rice thingy which is preety cool ( again i'll show u later haha)
K so first, all the pickles, vege u noe, the small plate thingys came out. And it was reli quite good. then our meat came, ya know the whole time there was a waitress serving us and doing all the stuff so we didnt need to worry bout anything literally.

the plate thingys i was telling about. see above. and u can see her lovely hand bbq-ing our meat =) btw the waitresses there were reli preety and they looked korean/jap tho when we asked them they were all myanmar people. hehe =) And hha i ordered green jap tea in a korean restaurant haha. i'm seriously tarded but haha not so like my 2 bros. Ee Eu ( the older one) ordered cofffee. I noe such a weirdo. It's nescafe and 8 bucks. Then the younger one orders pepsi which is also 8 bucks. haha, psychos. My parents ordered ginseng blah blah ya know healthy drinks =)

Just to show u the close up haha =) the meat's awesome by the way. CHick and Lamb. it's the sauce i think. But haha it made me so thirsty after dinner. haha

One of the ways to eat the cooked, well-marinated (extremely) meat is to put it in the lettuce along with one of their many many special sauces. garlic and all the thingys from the plate.. and haha it's reli good. But it's actually quite similiar to the Cantonese style. Every new year, my relatives do the same thing. but with the food from all the dishes haha.

The " pizza". it's actually like the fried thingys u can find in the pasar malam haha. And again they have a special sauce. =)

The Korean rice. It's supposedly special cos they out in the rock bowl thing and I freaking love this. NO idea why. Bro doesnt like it, doesnt understand y i dig it haha. =)

The steamboat soup thingy =) also reli tasty and I really like the udon mee inside and all the mushrooms =))))))))
So yeah, we actually over ordered abit as my younger brother generally doesnt eat much as he's a picky eater. But it was an awesome experience. My first official time going to a Korean restaurant to eat Korean food. =) ooh and I also saw some Malaysian celebrities there 2 actresse an a model. All 3 were really pretty. as preety as on Tv suprisingly haha. But all 3 had really blah =( dates, i mean seriously, when u'r ethat hot, why go for guys that look like.... haha... But maybe ya know they got good personalities and humour blah blah.. yeah yeah. this is why not so attractive guys get hot girls all the time haha =)
