hey everyone. hehe. think i'm now ready to write this really really long post about my IU day. hehe. prepared to be bombarded with tons n tons of pics, if u dont hav a good internet argh. this is gonna be a problem haha. think i hav bout 60-70 pics? and that is after i filtered and picked what i wanted to write about. i mean i hav like 1gb of iu pics hehe. so yeah yeah.
SMK Taman Desa International Understanding Day 2008 - Rockin' the Red Carpet happened on 19th July n i think hehe it was a success. * jumps around in room * hehe. had awesome fun bt was so F*in tired throughout this whole IU and let's not talk bout the preparations man. whew. hehe Based on the previous post u noe how my tix look rite? hehe. LOVE LOVE them. this was our booklet... I did it =)). n thk u huah jer!!!! free printing and photostat =))) ( i know it looks scrunched up tt's cos of my own bad keeping ehem =) )

few days b4 IU, we had a few rehearsals for the sketch and well hehe. the sketch was supposed to be bout retards n how music makes retards normal again. haha i noe i noe. lame lame. bt dun look at me. i din write the script hehe. aniwae my point is my goodness my seniors- the retards actually looks and acts like retards normally. ahahaa hha.so doin this,was easy peasy for them hehe look... especially yong han- guy on left ahahaha

haha aniwae. the day finally arrived. the night b4 we actually went to skool at bout 7pm went back at 10?. skool's quite cool at nite hehe. then the next day... went at 9am. pity me people =(( i reli din get enuff sleep that few days.. hehe. we did wat we had to with omgosh every1's help. THANK YOU EVERYONE! =) thk god we went back to hy's hse to bathe then woosh went back to skool. haha as every1 was changing at skool into their formal gear haha. my seniors got time to cam whore sumore. ahahhaa . kelvin n wei xian.. my goodness... put girls to shame man.... hehe



haha aniwae. lisa n dorothy were in charge of registration. guests were supposed to sign on our huge boards so that they would feel like a celebrity n there were like cameras everyewhere takin pics hehe. ooh n i LURVED our red carpet( material n colour was awesome!!!) n banner. omgosh so freakin nice. lemme show u guys...

Oh and i got to thank the Desa Perdana interactors!! =)) Thank you!! 4 cumin to our IU haha. The whole bunch of them were in their interact uniform. i tink at least 10-15 of them? hehe.

Aniwae. every1 came n u noe la dilly dally. i tink the actual event started liike bout 45 minutes-1 hour later, at bout 6 gua. haha. well. aniwae. only at the last few days was i told that we were to do our installation on IU day. first year doin this. what a mess. haha. as organising chaiperson, i had to giv a welcome greeting n emcee the installatoin, adoption serious crap la=((. haha. had no idea wat i was doin. everythin was like so spur of the moment bt thk god we made it thru haha.

I had to smile like a retard up there cos i din noe wat else to do =(. bt thk god i did. that guy's english is so horrible, he din reli noe wat was written on his script haha. he din write it. forgot who did. bt i remember this ultra corny line. " we chose the theme rockin the red carpet bcos we blive that everyone has star quality in them and we want every1 to feel like a star" or smthin along that lines.... bet u're alredi laughing... haha. my gosh. can some1 tell me wth was i looking at? haha

ooh bt miss jacqueline and mz sharon were absolutely fine. in fact, love them!!! though miz sharon has retired. we will always miss her and her humour, kindness and wit. =)) and thank u miss jac!! 4 bein our teacher advisor on such short notice this year and 4 guiding us in pulling off our IU day! thx thx thx!! hehe. from right. mz sharon n her daughter ( so cute!!! n the one lookin at them cam haha) then miss jac n her fren. btw if u guys r in my skool u guys gotta admit rite that miss jac is like hot as a teacher haha. aniwae, her, her fren n haha. mr chai. btw u guys shud noe. when i say i think sm1's hot.. mean in the most platonic way possible k? haha.

hehe. n guess what? after all the installation n adoption thingy, i was FINALLY relieved of my emcee duties(thk god!!!) haha. i sumhow managed to pull thru tho i mus tell u, i felt like a huge eejit on stage the whole time. argh.

So yay yay! our IU day FINALLY started... hehe. First up was our school's own hip hop dance, jeannette, michelle, rosanne, herman and this guy from other school were in it. i personally thought they were alrite considerin that everythin was like by them... i liked the part when Ridzuan and Lam,our school's dancing pros joined in at the end and did their thang haha. tell me u din go crazy when u saw ridzuan do a split ahaha.

haha. then next was a small sketch, actually more like a few scenes la. Hilarious with a capital H. gotta giv props to Eugene for writing it and Nicholas for directing it. And of course haha. my form 5 seniors- the retards =)) haha for being so sporting and doin such an awesome job. hehe. i mean they had the whole look and action thing downpat. haha. they had all of laughing our faces off especially during rehearsals. ahaha. as seen in the earlier pics.
haha. look at kar wing... he looks a lil doggish . haha. n haha wai hong's outfit and pose. ahahaha. btw. if u guys hav been there i'm sure u guys saw their back to normal human dance moves, my gosh. din noe they had it in them. haha. especially wai hong wit his whole 'push head backwards slowly' thingy. haha. genius.=))


well k. haven actually explain this leetle sketch to u guys. basically they're retards that act dumb then suddenly mr. einstein (ridzuan wearin a mask) walks in n starts dancing to the music so these gundus follow him then they end up bein normal again. haha. k then it's followed by this scene where mr. einstein goes to a hospital cos they tink that music can also cure 'sick people'. by sick i mean blind, deaf, mute, crippled and there's this nerd who apparently has got no cure. so einstein starts dancing then every1's ok again. haha. gonna praise chaar her and yang gen 4 this scene haha. i'll let u guys c the pics... n u'll noe wat i mean...

he can see again! ahahaha. hav no idea which genius coloured his eyes bt haha. it was so funny. hehe =) and now yang gen. i dunno if this wil be an insult to him. bt haha. this guy is so talented in being a retard and nerd haha. i mena haha. if u guys were there, the way he talked and acted and how he went "Now i can move like a man again!" after the music started playing and how he jiggled to the music. haha. thank u yang gen. awesome awesome nerd. =))) goodness he even wore a disco-ish checkered shirt. haha

And then, yew hon came up to play a few songs on his keyboard. i'll not comment further.

haha moving on. We had a performance from this group of dancers called HeartBazz. they're shufflers and supposedly very good, performed in clubs and blah. so i was like wat the heck, invite them to perform la. and they reli were quite entertaining man. haha. if u're into shuffling and so, u wud hav LOVED it. hehe. weird thing was tho, we all din know how they looked like or wat song they were dancing to till like 30 seconds b4 the performnace. that i wasnt too happy bout. bt thk god they were awesome =))

haha. Next, we sent on our 3 reli awesomely cute(haha) form 3 dudes who did their Ultraman dance. yes u heard me rite. Ultraman dance. Seems like people r saying that this has become our school's signature dance. haha. But seriously. for those of you that haven't seen it before, u'll find it highly HIGHLY amusing. haha. As seen in the pics below.

haha. alot of crotch moving. hehe. come to me for the video anytime*wink* hehe. Moving on... Then we had our refreshments/mini-dinner. Goodness. People and food. They become beast-like creatures. haha. They were literally attacking the food. haha. and u noe, we actually din expect that many people to come to our IU day. so i'll thank u guys again. =). hopefully the food waas enuff. I wuden noe.. I din eat haha. Think i wud have barfed if i ate.. I was that stressed.. haha

Look at the sakai amount of people... hehe... Anyway... during break.. Our guest of honour FINALLY arrived. hehe. Mr. Raj Kumar, first runner-up of Cornetto Love Perhaps 2007. haha. Loadsa girls were excited to see how he looks like cos he was supposed to be quite a looker. haha and well he didn't reli disappoint i guess. hehe. But his gf was so not what i expected. haha. But yeah go tot talk to him and could totally understand why he could charm his way to 2nd ( if u guys still dunno, cornetto love perhaps is a bunch of guys tryin to go after 1/few girls). he's charismatic and reli friendly. hehe. Him and ms Jac. =)

haha so after the break. He got on stage and somehow gave a speech that he did not prepare haha. Cos we were discussing earlier on what he was supposed to do and haha u noe. Dun evn noe y he came that day. Jus seems that he's a fren of one of our rotarian advisors. hehe. Ok. so after the break, I'm sure if u guys heard anythin, every1 said that the programmes after the break were like freakin awesome. haha. And i kinda agree. =) So first, was my DiDi ( Weng Jian)'s magic performance. Calls his magic" true magic' dun ask me y haha. But yeah His performance was one of the best of the night. Really highly entertaining and amazing. Good job, di! =)


Oh and the biggest stars of the night were definitely the BAND. * drum rolls* haha. They played 5 songs? i tink that night and my god every one was so high jumping around. Oh and the light effects were freakin awsome. When the band came on, all the lights went out except for a few head lights. And their ultimate climax was when Rick sang "Perfect" haha. They seriously got every1 jumping and screaming hehe.

Look at jullya man. everyone chant: "yeng! yeng ! yeng ! yeng!" haha. That girl got some profesional to do her hair. Blue streaks haha. cool. She even sang that night on " sweet child of mine". Rock on, girl!

All band members. Julian ( guitarist), Veeyan(drummer) but darn it that guy broke his hand jus a few days b4 IU. gave me the scare of my life haha. Nicholas ( tem drummer) he was great, given the time they had to practise =) but i will tell u, Veeyan is also an awesome drummer =). Then we have Rick( vocals) and Jullya(guitarists). Weng Jian(bass guitar) is like no where in this pic. haha. oh yeah Their new name. Mufects ( combo of music and effects) =)

Ok. So as every1 was jus like highing along with the band... Suddenly Eugene and Isaac were like shouting " Fashion show next! Fashion show next!!" and every1 was like "wth?!? *(&" I mean, literally most of the older interactors were in the fashion show including yors truly here and we were all under the assumption that there was gonna be a small sketch by the emcees before us. Mana tau our emcees decided to cancel it last minute cos they tot what they were gonna do was stupid -_-. so haiz. ever1 was like blur and clueless bout wth hell was goin on cos lemme tell u guys a lil secret...The fashion show that nite came without rehearsals at all. haha. no1 actually knew wat they were gonna do exactly. So thank god our 2 dancing kings, Ridzuan and Lam again came to the rescue. They went out and did their thing to giv us some time =))

Aniwae. So after they did their delayin dance.. We "models" were assembled backstage bt still clueless with wth's goin on. haha. Bt it's like partially my fault la i guess. along with mich's haha. You see. that girl and me are like in charge of the fashion show. but like till few days b4 our IU day we were still unsure with wat we shud do, i mena i have my ideas that i wasn't confident of but we did it my way in the end. haha. dunno whether that was ok. Michelle, thank god 4 her =) supplied alot of clothes 4 the fashion show, i was doin the who's walkin with who and wth every1 shud wear/do aspect. haha. and tho no1 reli got it in the end. it was in the sense, a weir dhit, a success haha. i tink there's actually smthin fun bout cheerin 4 ppl u noe while they're modelling. ahahaha...
Aniwae. first up was me =( and chaar her. Dunno how i ended up modelling with him but i did have fun haha i mus say. btw i look hideously ugly in my f*in fahsion show dress, in my opinion la. haha. =( and i was out first .double =( =( haha huiyee's aunt's dress and chaar her's own wardrobe. i mean, her aunt's dress is reli very ncie bt on me....

haha and i reli gotta praise chaar her haha. that guy, tho i stil tink he's like reli sampat( haha sry =p) he tot of our routine haha and ti was pretty funny la tho i dunno y the hell i did it. haha some ppl got it some ppl dun haha. it involves me and him posing in the middle of the stage. him reaching his hand out to me, me doin that odd gesture u can see above like the " ah ah, on way' thingy. then he gets mad and we go down the stage to the middle. then he looks away. so i tug on his sleeve first( and when i did this, it jus emphasised how darn short i was haha) he stil doesnt turn my way. then i pat him on his head then he finally nods at me then we hold hands and walk down the red carpet. I know, how can a guy like him tink of smthin liddat? haha no la. but it was quite cool. =) Then mich and Nicholas came out. this 2 rite, freakin amazin, at least me n me partner kinda knew wat we were gonna do but these 2 jus came out last minute and simple pose la.but haha. still looked good =) mich's hair was freakin cool and nich was actuali ok looking haha. Nic and Mich's own wardrobe.

haha then Kelvin, our president haha and Jillian came out ( Big hug to Jillian for modellin tho she wasnt an interactor=)))) They were a oddly cute couple haha. but then again every1 was like oddly cute together la. haha. they did their whole " girl dun bother guy but later grab his arms n walk" thingy haha. proud to say that Jill's wearing my dress=) and as usual kelvin's own wardrobe. =) tink i mentioned it jus now, but kelvin with specs ok, but kelvin without specs. a lil alienish =) sorry kelvin!! haha. bt i mus say, u're a good tho lazy president =))

Then ooh ooh, Wai Hong and Charis came out. Him in his hip hop get up and Charis in a reli cool vest. I must reli say, Charis looked reli good that night in the fashion show, Mich was supposed to wear that but well Charis probably carried it better. and haha. i liked wai hong's whole " I'm dun care bout anything" snooty look ahaha. And before posing down the stage, their mini dacne routine haha =) awesome. haha Hip hop wannabe bowie.. ahaha i like that. =)

then came the part whihc supposedy was supposed to be like fashion donts or u cud say fashio suprises la haha. but that day rite, we all din care who wore wat, jus like a no them fashion show haha. aniwae, Kar Jun and Lydia came out ( again big hug to Lydia for modelling =))) and my gosh they were technically really brave. i mean how many people wud come out in hawaiian gear, tho Kar Jun being in sampat self had no problems doin it hehe. Liked thier routine where they met in the middle, bowed then he transferred his straw hat to hear head and their final pose down there. Kar Jun is sampat but hilarious ahahhaa =) Kar Jun's own shirt andpants, Kar Wing's straw hat(i tink), Eugene's shirt on Lydia, my skirt pants, and Lydia's own float =))

Then next up ahahaa. Still can't belive them till now. Jeannette and Ronald as the wedding couple. I thought they looked really good espcially the groom, i mena u cud seriously imagine him gettin married in the outfit haha. But my goodness, Jeannette's poses that they did haha. U gotta see to believe. Jeannette's own tube dress, Fazira's veil. Ronald's borrowed coat.

I know... Jaw-droppingly limelight stealingly oh my gosh rite =) haha. I wonder what Ronald's gf had to say about it.. haha... oh yeah.. she din come. haha =) but tho drastic, their actuons reli made them look like a married couple, all that hugging and grabbing... haha
Haha Ooh!!! and next up, one of my favourite couple ahahha That's cause it's Huiyee and Wei Xian haha. My dear awesome friend turned into an emo goth girl along with her artner. And dun deny it u dumb girl( That girl keeps goin " Omg, i look like a freak" ), U looked awesome that day la pls, and every1 told u that k? and my gosh her hair combined with her makeup =))) yay! SHe was so emo looking and angry haha. She says cos her skinny jeans were so freakin tight well then i;m glad she wore them!!

hehe cool rite? sure quite a few of u wil be shocked but good shock rite =) haha. Wei Xian looks like he put lip stick haha. ooh ooh i must say. That cuckoo guy actually thought that outting eyeliner(as shown in pic) is not as gross as wearin a hawaiian shirt... weird oddball man. haha and on that day. that oddie gladly asked every1 around him to paint his fingernails, i mean even huiyee din paint hers. haha.. look...

But haha that guy's cool la.i mean,haha those coward guys i know wil NEVER put eyeliner and nail polish man haha. Then came Yong Han, that poor guy walked alone in his PAJAMAS haha. yeah yeah u din hear me wrong. Awesome rite? but yala dun tink i wud have found a girl who would have worn her PJs bt haha he was so cute!!! he was a great warmup 4 our finale haha. My bro's PJs and his own teddy bear, whom i gave my first kiss to =) *wink* haha

haha cute cute. And goodness. If u still dunno, haha our big finale for our fashion show was our very own Superstar, Kiara. haha. Kiara who? haha Ming Yew cross dressing as a girl. ahahahha. he gave himself that name btw haha. That guy haha i've seriously got no comment. I mean he wore a dress 4 heaven sake, put makeup, stuffed hankerchiefs in his boobies. haha. wore a wig and got dorothy to crossdress as a guy to walk with him. and my gosh, dor did look like a guy...
ooh and yee hsiong if u're reading dis haha. maybe it was a blessing u din cum, cos he wanted to seduce u in front of every1.... haha =). Ming Yew found his own clothes and loaned Dory his. haha
And my gosh u gotta see the pics to believe it.



haha. the memory of Ming Yew acting sluttily and caressing every1's faces... haha... =)) But Thank u seriously Ming yew for doing all that tho u din mind.. haha... Made every1 laugh, exclaim haha... U're sooooo... hot, Kiara! haha =)
And then came the end of our fashion show... btw if u're interested in seein the video, haha jus come to me haha =)

And after souvenir presentation, our IU finally ended! =) ( AHH! forgot to take a pic of the souvenir) It was reli nice, we pasted red paper on a blank CD and huiyee wrote on every single one of then with reli ncie handwriting in gold pen. And amazingly, every single one of them looks the same =) that's y she rocks haha! BUt tho our IU ended, every1 partied like crazy on the stage, dancing dumb dances, taking a whole lotta pics haha. =) the many videos i have. will show u haha exactly how crazy it was. hehe

what did i say? haha. And this is most of us Form 4 And Form 5 interactors. haha. and pleas dun tease me on the stupid pose la. Cant remember y the hell i did that haha. =)

Haha. Thx u guys, every single one of u interactors for making this IU day a huge success and so freakin fun! =))) I mean we had loadsa problems but in the end.. haha... it all din matter. =)) That few days before and on IU day, was the most exhausting but fun, interesting days i ever had. haha. =)) Aniwae, after cleaning up, we all realised that haha, none of us ate, so us Form 4s and Form 5s hitchhiked to Sri Nilas to eat =)) We took up the whole restaurant, the Form 3s actually connected one whole long rectangle bunch of tables . haha. Then we chatted stupidly away bout our IU. =)

AHHH..... artistic drinks... We were so darn thirsty...

The at about 11, every1 went back and me went to hy's hse to stay for the night... We chatted till bout 2? i tink haha... Then we woke up at 10 the next day then went to mid valley to meet the others to watch "the Dark Knight"... Don't we just rock? haha =)

Now that I'm done with this post, i have a few things that i have to say
1. my stupid blogspot and internet explorer made it so hard for me to do this particular post. but sparing the details, i'm now in love with Mozilla Firefox. =) haha I took 3 weeks to write this stupid post... haha
2. the photos above were taken by many cameras, My lame phone cam, hoi kit and yang kang's awesome cams
3, our agenda on the booklet that we handed out was completely wrong haha
4. We were doin everythin so last minute... but i think that was precisely wat made it fun =)
5. We earned about 2000 bucks =))))))))))) tho we cud hav earned more cos of some stuff that i'd rather not say,,, but still woopee!!!!! =)))))
6. i said so many thk yous i sound like a freak... haha
7. and as i mentioned earlier... videos come get from me=)
8. decided to stop changing my text colour half way cos i'm a lazy pok =)
9.Oh yeah, Heath Ledger rocks! =) and scares the freakin hell out of me....
